An established manufacturing site in Winsford is currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to move away from shift work and into a stable Monday to Friday days role while working on a varied range of plant equipment.

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment and facilities to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation. The role focuses primarily on electrical maintenance while also supporting mechanical work where skills allow. The successful candidate will play a key role in minimising downtime, improving equipment reliability and supporting production to meet business and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on plant equipment and site facilities.
  • Support maintenance activities across instrumentation and electrical systems where competency allows.
  • Identify equipment issues and improvement opportunities and communicate these to the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Planner.
  • Follow and maintain safe working practices and company procedures.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with company standards.
