We are seeking a qualified Mobile Site Electrician to support the installation, maintenance, and servicing of temporary electrical systems across a range of live project sites. This is a field-based position requiring regular travel across the UK, working on varied and fast-paced environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all electrical work is installed, tested, and maintained to a high standard, fully compliant with current regulations and site safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, maintenance, and removal of temporary electrical systems on site
  • Electrical testing, inspection, and fault finding
  • Ensuring all work is compliant with current wiring regulations and health & safety standards
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults in a timely manner
  • Liaising with site teams and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Completing all required compliance and technical documentation
  • Working across multiple sites with varying technical requirements

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
  • Experience in electrical installation or maintenance (site or mobile experience preferred)
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • ECS/CSCS card (desirable)

Desirable Experience

  • Temporary site electrics or construction site installation experience
  • Experience with generators, distribution boards, or temporary power systems
  • 2391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent)
