We are recruiting for a leading logistics and process automation business based at Heathrow, offering the chance to drive quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across a dynamic engineering environment.

Role Overview

This is a key role supporting the QHSE Manager in delivering robust safety performance and compliance. You will coordinate safety activities, manage reporting systems, support audits, and promote a proactive Health & Safety culture across engineering teams, management, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of QHSE policies and ensure compliance with relevant standards
  • Promote a proactive approach to Health & Safety across site teams and management
  • Maintain and manage risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections
  • Administer internal HSE reporting tools (VelocityEHS) including investigations and hazard reporting
  • Track and close actions arising from safety walks, risk assessments, and audits
  • Produce reports and presentations to highlight safety performance and KPI trends
  • Coordinate internal and external teams for safety-related activities
  • Support the QHSE Manager in achieving departmental objectives

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in QHSE coordination, Health & Safety, or similar role
  • Knowledge of HSE legislation (NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications desirable)
  • Strong risk assessment and audit experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Confident working autonomously and across multiple teams
  • Strong IT skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience producing reports and KPI analysis
  • Internal auditing qualification (desirable)
