Join our Engineering Team and Help Drive World-Class Maintenance Standards. My Client is looking for a proactive and inspirational Engineering Maintenance Planner to join our high-performing Engineering function. This is a key role in ensuring my clients plant, machinery, and services run to the highest standards and support the overall success of their operations.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you'll oversee maintenance planning across four closely linked sites, support up to 30 engineers, and directly manage our Stores team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive maintenance plan for all engineering assets.
  • Schedule and coordinate regular maintenance activities, allocating the right personnel and materials.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to assess and prioritise tasks.
  • Manage and track work orders and PPMs to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Monitor key maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTTF, compliance, cost efficiency, etc.) and drive improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analyses for equipment failures and lead corrective action planning.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activity, costs, and stock.
  • Ensure safety, legal compliance, and alignment with company standards.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and inventory control for maintenance.
  • Provide training and mentoring for new and existing team members.
