The Role
We are seeking a qualified Mobile Site Electrician to support the installation, maintenance, and servicing of temporary electrical systems across a range of live project sites. This is a field-based position requiring regular travel across the UK, working on varied and fast-paced environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all electrical work is installed, tested, and maintained to a high standard, fully compliant with current regulations and site safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, and removal of temporary electrical systems on site
- Electrical testing, inspection, and fault finding
- Ensuring all work is compliant with current wiring regulations and health & safety standards
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults in a timely manner
- Liaising with site teams and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
- Completing all required compliance and technical documentation
- Working across multiple sites with varying technical requirements
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- Experience in electrical installation or maintenance (site or mobile experience preferred)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- ECS/CSCS card (desirable)
Desirable Experience
- Temporary site electrics or construction site installation experience
- Experience with generators, distribution boards, or temporary power systems
- 2391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent)
