The Role
As part of a skilled and supportive engineering team, you will play a vital role in maintaining production efficiency by carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of food manufacturing equipment and site services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and repairing industrial food processing and cooking equipment.
- Fault finding and servicing pumps, motors, conveyors and associated production machinery.
- Maintaining essential site services including air compressors and water systems.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximise machine reliability and performance.
- Working safely to ensure the highest standards of health and safety are maintained.
- Receiving full training on specialist plant including steam boilers and refrigeration systems.
About You
We are looking for an engineer who has:
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- A mechanical bias with strong maintenance and fault-finding skills.
- Experience working on production machinery and site services.
- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit engineering team.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Basic electrical maintenance knowledge.
- Welding or fabrication experience.
