Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Overview

Maintenance Engineer position in Wrexham with a salary of £47,200 per annum. Shifts are 4 on 4 off, covering days and nights. 28 days holiday.

Responsibilities

• Carry out both reactive and planned maintenance on a range of production machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime.
• Perform fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure equipment operates at optimum efficiency.
• Work closely with the Engineering Team Leader and production staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Time-served or formally qualified engineer (NVQ Level 3, ONC, HNC or equivalent).
• Multi-skilled, ideally with a good balance of mechanical and electrical experience.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Able to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern including days and nights.
• A proactive, team-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
