Responsibilities
- Initiating and nurturing close relationships with relevant private markets institutional investors;
- Bringing primary fundraising opportunities to those investors, mainly across the UK, Western Europe, and the US;
- Leading the distribution, or placement, of GP-led and LP-led secondaries transactions and co‑investments;
- Convening roadshows during active fundraisings and secondaries deals;
- Supporting the full investment process, from initial introductions and due diligence to negotiation and final closing;
- Identifying opportunities, amongst the LP market, for secondary transactions and managing all aspects of their implementation.
Qualifications
- Proven relationship‑management skills and an institutional sales track record, built over approximately five to seven years;
- Core experience in private fund placement or a comparable in‑house role at a private markets investment platform;
- Early‑career Analyst experience in either investment banking, corporate finance advisory, or other financial product sell‑side delivery;
- A strong commercial mindset, supported by advanced marketing and communication abilities;
- A well‑developed blend of analytical capability and relationship management skills;
- Motivation to thrive within a lean, boutique environment;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English essential.
Additional Requirements
- Established LP relationships in the German and / or Swiss markets would be a plus;
- Possession of a US FINRA Series 7 license is advantageous.
