Our customer is a leading name in the provision of MRO services to today's modern commercial airlines. Due to growth, they are seeking to appoint a Project Manager to work on landing gear, located at their site in the edge of West London.
The MRO Project Manager is responsible for managing landing gear overhaul events. The job holder will ensure delivery to the customer on time, on budget, and according to customer specifications. There will be close work with the Product Line team, Operations, Planning, Billing and Engineering to ensure complete contract fulfilment with superior results in customer satisfaction. One of the main objectives for this position is to increase profitability for each overhaul event.
Daily Duties:
- Responsible for completing landing gear overhaul events on time and on budget.
- To maximize customer satisfaction.
- Ensure complete customer contract fulfilment on events.
- Manage the progress of overhaul events and direct responsible parties to ensure that the event progress is in line with company and customer interest.
- Coordinate technical requirements with the Engineering team.
- Support in coordinating schedule changes with the Planning team.
- Provide feedback regarding the overhaul event status to the Account Manager (e.g. planned delivery, scrap material, cost) and Customer Support Specialist.
Education & Qualifications:
- Experience in the Aerospace industry desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
- Experience working with technical records or airline CAMO / part management processes. Ideally, the candidate shall be from an MRO background.
- Organisational talent, high own initiative, high conflict ability and analytical skills.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent ability to analyse figures and financial reviews.

- Monday – Friday
- 5s standard
- 38 hours per week
- May require working additional overtime hours
- Working with computers and screens for prolonged periods
