About the role - Materials Coordinator
Challenge, screen and support Central MML team in material requests clarifications and finding local alternative options involving Production and Engineering e.g. optional repairs, alternative P/N’s, deferrals etc.
Participate in Project Team Meeting & Customer Update Meetings, take away action items, provide priorities to Stores for issuing and follow up on items during the day.
Support the Compliance teams on regulatory Material reporting parameters.
Direct & ad-hoc purchasing of items in accordance with the MML and established policies and procedures.
Professional experience:
- Minimum 3 years in aircraft maintenance and overhaul (preferred)
- Good knowledge of other logistics processes (planning & purchasing, warehouse, transport)
- Good commercial experience and sound financial awareness
- Sound project management experience
- Good IT skills, particularly Excel
Personal Qualities:
- Ability to develop and apply creative and innovative solutions to problems
Office environment, based in Hayes. Full time role. Hybrid working policy applicable. Potential travel required. Mandatory Training will be required. Computer literate, preferably SAP knowledge. Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
