We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Manager Offshore O&G and Offshore Wind Solutions to lead and manage geotechnical projects for offshore Oil & Gas and Wind solutions. This role involves overseeing all aspects of geotechnical engineering, with a strong focus on project management, technical leadership, and client engagement. While the position is primarily office-based, it includes offshore involvement to support project delivery and ensure quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and manage geotechnical investigations and studies for subsea projects.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Review and approve technical reports, designs, and recommendations tailored to subsea geotechnical conditions.
- Refine and update processes, procedures, and technical specifications to optimize operations.
- Lead technical planning and management of geotechnical activities, including new product development and process improvement.
- Provide expertise in soil mechanics, foundation design, slope stability, and other geotechnical principles.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations specific to offshore and subsea environments.
- Conduct quality assurance and control of geotechnical data, equipment, and technical documentation.
- Support tenders and commercial proposals by providing technical input.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Present project updates, technical findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Promote and enforce HSE standards in all geotechnical operations.
- Conduct site visits and audits to uphold safe and environmentally responsible practices.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of geotechnical engineers and technicians.
- Provide constructive feedback through performance reviews and support career development.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8-10 years of geotechnical engineering experience, with 3-5 years in subsea projects and leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of marine ground investigations and geophysical/geological processes.
- Project Management experience and certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio) and familiarity with offshore tools and technologies.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of geotechnical equipment, including operations and troubleshooting.
