About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Reporting Product Lead to join our growing data department. This role will act as the vital bridge between complex data infrastructure and actionable business insights by identifying the opportunity and recommending end-to-end data reporting solutions that directly enable the business to derive maximum value from its information assets. Reporting directly to the Head of Data and Reporting, you will lead our data reporting initiatives and activities and own the entire lifecycle of reporting solutions to ensure data quality, robustness and timely delivery across ASML, whilst adhering to and enforcing Data Quality and Regulatory standards. This is a strategic role for a high performer who is ready to establish a legacy.
Key responsibilities
- Product Management
- Acting as the data reporting consultant, proactively identify data reporting opportunities in all business domains of the organization and recommend pragmatic reporting solutions, both tactical and strategic, to the business.
- Lead discovery phase by gathering business requirements, refining them into technical specifications, and documenting them for formal business sign-off.
- Build POC reporting mock-ups, MVPs and/or dashboards independently to validate ideas with the stakeholders before productionizing the solutions.
- Acting as the primary interface for the technical teams, articulate refined requirements to Data Engineers (for data source and pipeline/schema needs) and Data Analysts (for visualization and business logic).
- Engage with technical teams for support on the creation of necessary reporting.
- Own the full data reporting product delivery cycle, ensuring quality assurance, user acceptance testing (UAT), successful deployment of the data reporting solutions, end user trainings and BAU support models.
- Data Reporting Operations
- Support the business through standardisation and automation of operational data reporting solutions.
- Establish CoE for BAU data reporting solutions, such as Lloyd’s regulatory reporting, external and internal Audit reporting and Finance Close reporting. Ensure continuous delivery of customized business reporting solutions.
- Support the business on troubleshooting data issues, identify patterns and correlations among the various data sources.
- Collaborate with Data Governance Lead on cross functional data initiatives. Contribute to the improvements in data quality through logging quality issues and monitoring performance during the data reporting product lifecycle, as well as identifying opportunities for remediation and enhancement.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and strategies that will support the organisation to achieve its longer-term ambitions.
- Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data reporting product delivery.
- Stakeholder Management and collaboration
- Navigate diverse priorities across the organization, managing expectations and fostering a collaborative environment between the central data hub and the wider business.
- Collaborate with broader IT, Data and Operations teams to build and maintain healthy and supportive working relationships.
- Be the advocate of data reporting practices and contribute to promoting a Data Culture within the organization.
- Undertake any other related duties as may be reasonably required.

Skills & Experience
- Experience working within the Lloyd’s Insurance market is essential.
- Experience of business analysis and product management is essential.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to confidently present reports at board level and regularly work with senior managers and SMEs within the business.
- Experience of translating business needs into end user requirements.
- Experience of analysing, developing and documenting data reporting functional and technical specifications for development.
- Excellent SQL, Excel and data reporting tools knowledge (such as Power BI or similar), including data reconciliation and transformation.
- Experience of technical project delivery, such as BI products, Data Migration, Cloud Data Warehouse.
- Experience of working with large datasets, knowledge of data manipulation, interrogation, transformation and import procedures.
- Experience with data loading and ETL/ELT concepts and Big Data tools.
- Experience with supporting strategic data improvement initiatives.
- A high level of analytical skills, process automation, problem solving, attention to detail and a passion for data.
- Formal education in data or computer science at a degree level is preferable.
