Overview

We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager to join our growing team at Argent Partnership — a leading utility procurement and management consultancy, specialising in the Property Management sector.

Our clients are responsible for managing every operational aspect of a site — from lift maintenance and building insurance to security and budget control. We support them by managing and procuring landlord and communal utility services, including electricity, gas, and water, so they can focus on delivering exceptional service.

This role is integral to our client experience, encompassing utility contract procurement and the day-to-day administration of utility accounts across a defined portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients
  • Provide a high standard of account service and support across your client portfolio
  • Generate regular client reports (status updates and financial summaries)
  • Process invoices via our Bill Validation Portal
  • Investigate and resolve utility billing and account issues
  • Manage the Smart Meter upgrade programme
  • Request and register meter readings with suppliers
  • Ensure all client records and invoicing data are accurate and up to date
  • Support and train colleagues when required

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Previous account management experience is desirable
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • IT literate and comfortable learning new systems
  • Experience in the utilities industry or administration is an advantage, but not essential
  • Full training will be provided
