Role Overview
The CCTV Investigations Analyst is responsible for monitoring live CCTV feeds, analysing incidents and supporting the organisation’s security and loss prevention objectives within a dynamic control centre environment. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong situational awareness, and the ability to make quick, accurate decisions under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor multiple CCTV feeds to identify potential incidents or risks
- Investigate incidents using video footage, system data and analytical tools
- Produce accurate incident reports and elevate findings to the appropriate teams
- Support real-time investigations and live monitoring operations
- Maintain compliance with company security, data protection and privacy standards
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of control room processes and efficiency
- Ensure all systems are operational and promptly report any faults or downtime
- Collaborate closely with analysts, operations managers and field teams
Education Requirements
- Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- Further education or qualifications in Security, Criminology, IT or a related field are desirable
Licensing Requirements
A valid SIA CCTV Public Space Surveillance (PSS) licence is mandatory for this role.
