Main Responsibilities
- Providing visible deterrence, responding to incidents, completing incident reports and collaborating with local authorities.
- Patrolling the shop floor and deterring criminal activity.
- Assessing and identifying vulnerabilities and working proactively to minimise risk.
- Liaising with management and local authorities when applicable.
- Managing vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid distress.
- Completing colleague and contractor searches in line with customer company policy.
- Digitally reporting incidents using tablets or phones for daily activity planning.
- Providing detailed and legible incident reporting to assist the client and local authorities.

Hourly rate: Site dependent, between £12.71– £15.00 per hour
The Person
You must be a confident communicator, able to provide detailed verbal and written accounts of criminal activity. Welcoming, patient with customers and capable of handling conflict professionally are also essential.
Required Experience and Qualification
- Valid SIA licence (Guarding or Door Supervisor) is required.
- Previous experience in a retail security role is an advantage but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Applicants must provide a full 5‑year checkable work or back‑to‑school history.
