Main Responsibilities

  • Provide a visible deterrence, respond to incidents, complete incident reports and collaborate with local authorities.
  • Patrolling the shop floor and deterring criminal activity.
  • Assessing and identifying vulnerabilities, and working proactively to minimise risk.
  • Liaising with management and local authorities where applicable.
  • Managing vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid distress.
  • Completing colleague and contractor searches in line with customer policy.
  • Digital incident reporting and daily activity planning using tablets/phones.
  • Providing detailed and legible incident reports to assist the client and local authorities.

Shift Pattern

Wed, Thurs, Fri 12:30 – 22:00, Sat 10:30 – 22:00, Sun 10:00 – 20:00

Hourly Rate

£13.45

The Person

Effective communication is essential. You must be welcoming and patient with customers, handle conflict professionally, and provide detailed verbal and written accounts of incidents.

Required Experience and Qualification

You must have a valid SIA licence to apply. Previous experience in a Retail Security role is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.
