Hours: 48 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Tuesday - Friday - 11:15-23:15
Hourly Rate: £13.50
Main Responsibilities:- Provide visible deterrence and respond to incidents.
- Complete incident reports and collaborate with local authorities.
- Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity.
- Assess and identify vulnerabilities, working proactively to minimise risk.
- Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable.
- Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid causing distress.
- Complete colleague and contractor searches in line with customer company policy.
- Digitally report incidents and use tablets/phones for daily activity planning.
- Provide detailed and legible incident reporting to assist the Client and Local Authorities.
To be an effective Security Officer, you will need to be a confident communicator, providing detailed verbal and written accounts of criminal activity. You should be welcoming and patient with customers, and able to handle conflict in a professional manner.
Required Experience And Qualification:- You must have a valid SIA licence to apply for this role.
- Previous experience in a Retail Security Role is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
- Applicants must provide a full 5-year checkable work or back to school history.
- Bring your right to work documents and a recent proof of address to the interview.
- You must have a current SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence to apply for this role.
