Main Responsibilities

  • Provide a visible deterrent and maintain security presence on the shop floor.
  • Respond to incidents, complete incident reports, and collaborate with local authorities.
  • Patrol the premises and deter criminal activity.
  • Assess vulnerabilities and work proactively to minimise risk.
  • Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid causing distress.
  • Conduct colleague and contractor searches in line with customer policy.
  • Digitally report incidents and use tablets or phones for daily activity planning.
  • Produce detailed and legible incident reports for the client and authorities.

Successful applicants will communicate confidently, provide detailed verbal and written accounts, be welcoming and patient with customers, and handle conflict calmly and professionally.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Valid SIA licence.
