You will be working for a contractor who is carrying out sprayed concrete and concrete repair work. Project package values from £50k to over £10m. The work is nationwide, but you will be head office based, 5 days per week. Ideally you must have previous experience predominantly in the Civil engineering range of projects. Strong in oral and verbal communication with good commercial understanding and appreciation. Good IT skills are important, and a good technical engineering knowledge is an advantage. The QS role will involve working closely with the construction team and the clients to ensure that commercial elements are identified and correctly charged for. The ideal person will have enthusiasm in the construction industry and be able to communicate well at all levels. The contractor is very well respected in this niche market and has extremely good working relationships with Contractors and Clients on major projects. You should be enthusiastic with a genuine desire to help the company grow and expand.
