Overview:
- Qualified to at least CSRT qualifications. Certified Surveyor in Remedial Treatment or CSSW, Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing.
- Full driving licence, with no more than 6 points, essential.
- Word and Outlook fully computer literate.
- Able to visit 3 properties per day to undertake rising damp, condensation or dry rot surveys and inspections.
- Type reports up the same day using templated report forms.
- Working area covers parts of Kent and south-east London.
- Surveys are in mostly private residential homes or rented properties.
- Living within 45-60 minutes’ drive of Orpington.
- Latest damp testing kit plus updated PCA training available.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Organised, with attention to detail.
- Good time management, often working alone.

Duties:
- Carry out surveys to locate problems and assess impact.
- Write up reports, backed up with photographic evidence.
- Offer recommendations and courses of action.
- Recording and maintaining accurate records.
- Work within Health and Safety at work act of 1974 in all working areas.
- Perform any reasonable management instruction within time frame requested.
- Assist in training and mentoring trainee surveyors.
