Your role will involve coordinating and managing the pre‑construction phase of projects, ensuring efficient and effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of activities. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive pre‑construction plans that align with project objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop pre‑construction plans and schedules for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate the preparation of project documentation, including scope of work, project schedules, resource plans, and budget estimates.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to obtain permits, approvals, and relevant information for project planning and development.
  • Monitor and track project progress, milestones, and deliverables against established plans and schedules, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of pre‑construction activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in pre‑construction planning, project management, or related roles within the construction industry would be good.
  • Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high‑quality work within established timelines and budget constraints.
