These roles involve working on-site to install CFRP systems for repairs and strengthening of existing structures. The main duties include driving between sites, performing repairs, recording operations, and undergoing training in specialist materials and equipment.
- Conduct inspections and tests according to standards and procedures.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of all site activities.
- Upload work documentation, test data, and photos to the company system.
- Keep timesheets and daily notes, and plan upcoming work with method statements and drawings.
- Produce detailed inspection reports.
The CFRP systems are used to strengthen concrete elements in buildings and infrastructure, bonded with epoxy resin for retrofits, repairs, and load capacity upgrades.
- Minimum 1-3 years of site experience as a Carbon Fibre Concrete Technician.
- Numeracy and literacy skills at GCSE level C or equivalent.
- Ability to record data accurately and maintain site records.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Clean UK manual driving license; company van provided.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- Some knowledge of structures and construction materials.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- CSCS Skilled Trades Card (Blue).
Working hours are generally Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with flexibility depending on site requirements. Salary is negotiable between £45,000 and £50,000, plus benefits.
