Arevna is recruiting for a Senior Design Engineer on behalf of a leading medical device company. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a strong background in new product development (NPD), who can lead design-based activities from concept to production while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead design and development projects, collaborating across departments from Marketing to Production.
2. Develop innovative product concepts, generate intellectual property (IP), and contribute to registration efforts.
3. Manage design risk assessments and ensure compliance with ISO 13485.
4. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers while supporting legacy product improvements.
5. Oversee prototyping, testing, and manufacturing feasibility, ensuring cost-effective and high-performance solutions.
6. Drive project management activities, ensuring timely delivery within budget.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. 5+ years of experience in medical device design and new product development.
2. Strong expertise in 3D CAD, with the ability to lead and mentor others.
3. A proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.
4. A commercially aware engineer who understands how technical decisions impact product success.
5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, capable of working with multidisciplinary teams.
