We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in the medical device industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with a degree in Biomedical Engineering to gain hands-on experience in the design and development of innovative medical technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of medical devices, from concept through to production.
- Work closely with engineering, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to ensure product feasibility and compliance.
- Support the creation of technical drawings, CAD models, and prototypes.
- Conduct design validation and verification activities, including testing and analysis.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation to support regulatory submissions.
- Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives in product development.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in medical technology.
Requirements
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Medical Engineering).
- Full right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available for this role).
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for medical technology and a desire to make a difference in healthcare.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
