We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a pre-deal / merger environment, delivering complex IT infrastructure and tenant-to-tenant migration programmes. The role sits at the intersection of business readiness, technical delivery, and third-party coordination, requiring strong stakeholder management and hands-on project leadership. This is a highly visible role within a fast-paced transformation programme, based primarily on-site in the City of London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-deal and merger-related IT infrastructure projects, ensuring operational readiness and delivery alignment.
  • Manage tenant-to-tenant migrations, including planning, dependency mapping, cutover governance and risk management.
  • Coordinate multiple third-party vendors and systems integrators, holding them accountable to delivery milestones.
  • Own project plans, RAID logs, governance reporting, and senior stakeholder communications.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, security and identity teams across both buyer and seller environments.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, timelines, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
  • Support integration or separation activities across O365, Azure and core IT infrastructure.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering IT infrastructure programmes.
  • Strong background in M&A, pre-deal, merger or separation projects.
  • Demonstrable experience managing tenant-to-tenant migrations (O365 and/or Azure environments).
  • Extensive experience in third-party management within complex enterprise programmes.
  • Comfortable operating in high-pressure, ambiguous pre-deal environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including C-suite engagement.

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of O365, Azure, identity and cloud infrastructure concepts.
  • Experience working alongside architecture, security and networking teams.
  • Previous financial services, consultancy, or large enterprise environments.

Contract Details

  • 6 months initial term.
  • Outside IR35.
  • 3–4 days per week onsite in the City of London.
  • Competitive day rate (dependent on experience).
