We're looking for exceptional Tech Leads to take ownership of a core API Platform Team, driving the transition from legacy systems into a modern, scalable, API-first architecture — with a key shift from PHP into Golang.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the technical direction of the API platform
- Drive migration from legacy systems to API‐first architecture
- Build high‐performance, scalable services in Golang
- Line-manage & mentor a team of 4 engineers
- Act as the technical escalation point
- Partner closely with Product & QA
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead / Senior Engineer
- Strong background in API & backend development
- Solid object‐oriented design & scalable architecture skills
- Experience working across the full stack in production
- Leadership experience – mentoring, managing, growing engineers
- Confident making technical decisions & trade‐offs
- Experience with Golang (or strong desire to move into it)
- High‐throughput, data‐heavy systems
- Experience in regulated domains (e.g. healthcare)
Up to £90,000 base salary
Up to 30 days with tenure
