Remote (Scotland-based teams)
This is a front-end–first leadership role for engineers who care deeply about UI quality, performance, and user experience. You'll lead a small product engineering team while staying hands-on, shaping how complex, data-rich applications feel and perform at scale.
What you'll lead:
- Complex, highly interactive user interfaces
- UI modernisation & new front-end modules
- Lead & mentor 2–6 front-end / full-stack engineers
- Own front-end technical direction & standards
- Partner with Product & Design on scope and UX
- Stay hands-on with code as teams scale
- Champion accessibility, usability & performance
Remote-first, flexible working (no mandated office days)
33–40 days holiday + 4-week sabbatical after 5 years
