We're looking for a highly skilled Cloud Solution Architect to collaborate with crossâfunctional teams, engage diverse stakeholders, and drive architectural excellence across a variety of projects. This senior position offers the chance to shape solution strategy, lead technical design, and deliver secure, scalable, forwardâthinking cloud architectures. You'll work across Azure or AWSâbased platforms (GCP knowledge would be desirable) and applications as part of digital service teams, providing thought leadership and handsâon architectural expertise.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the design of multi-dimensional solution architectures, aligned with client goals and business strategies.
- Collaborate with clients and suppliers to identify innovation opportunities and evaluate architecture options.
- Assess current technology landscapes to identify gaps and risks and design futureâstate cloud architectures.
- Apply architecture principles, standards, and best practices to ensure robust digital solution delivery.
- Create roadmaps for smooth migration from legacy systems to modern cloud architectures.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Lead workshops and presentations to communicate architectural and technical concepts effectively.
- Support preâsales activities and project teams.
- Translate complex business challenges into actionable, highâquality solution architectures.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, ideally within a consultancy or clientâfacing environment.
- Strong expertise in Azure & AWS architecture, including designing and implementing cloudâbased applications and services.
- Handsâon experience guiding cloud and API solutions, including API Gateway, Lambdas, and integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery, DevSecOps practices, and architecture frameworks.
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Miro.
What's Desirable:
- Experience architecting GCP related projects.
- Experience with Government Digital Service Standards or Secure, Regulated environments.
- Knowledge of emerging AI or digital technologies applicable to cloud solutions.
- SC Cleared or SC Clearable for future projects.
