A leading public sector organisation is seeking a Product Manager (SFIA Level 5) to support the delivery of digital services within a fast-paced, agile environment. You will be responsible for shaping product direction, managing backlogs, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver value-driven outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Own and prioritise product backlogs aligned to business and user needs
- Define and communicate product vision and roadmap
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and stakeholders to drive delivery
- Support agile delivery through iterative development and continuous improvement
- Engage stakeholders and manage expectations across the organisation
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in digital/technology environments
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
- Experience managing stakeholders and influencing decision‐making
- Ability to translate complex requirements into clear product outcomes
Additional Information: BPSS clearance required (or eligible). Occasional travel to Leeds or Newcastle (approx. once per month for 2 days). Prior experience within a government agency or wider public sector essential.
