Are you a Senior Developer ready to step into a Tech Lead role where you can shape products that truly make a difference? We're partnering with an industry leader at the forefront of digital innovation in healthtech. With offices in Bristol, Bournemouth, and London (and just one or two in-office days per month), this is a fully remote opportunity offering the chance to lead, innovate, and grow in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
What you'll do:
- Take on a 70/30 hands-on vs. leadership split—coding, architecting, and mentoring.
- Lead a small, talented team of developers in an agile, product-focused environment (Scrum).
- Work across a modern full-stack environment:
- Back end: Ruby on Rails, PHP (Symfony)
- Front end: Vue.js, TypeScript
- Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB
- Other tech: Python, Node.js (AWS Lambdas), AWS, CI/CD with GitHub Actions & Semaphore
What we're looking for:
- Strong full-stack development experience with object-oriented languages (Ruby, PHP, Java, C#, etc.).
- Experience mentoring or leading developers—or ready to step into leadership.
- Passion for clean code, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Comfortable with agile practices—pair programming, code reviews, automated testing.
- Curious mindset with a desire to learn new tools and technologies.
What's on offer:
- Up to £85,000 salary.
- 25+ days leave + public holidays & additional days for length of service.
- Private medical insurance, life assurance & enhanced maternity leave.
- Pension contributions & Employee Assistance Programme.
- Birthday day off & referral bonus scheme.
- A genuinely collaborative, supportive culture where your ideas matter.
If you're a passionate developer who wants to build impactful products while growing into a true tech leader, we'd love to speak with you.
