Senior Project Manager | Counter Fraud & Compliance | Manchester | Up to £435/day
Having placed 3 contractors with this client already, the feedback has been consistently excellent — a supportive team and a company people actually enjoy being part of.
This isn't a role where you inherit someone else's plan. You start with a blank page — and you build something that protects public money at scale.
We're hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery on a high-stakes Counter Fraud, Compliance & Debt programme for a major public sector department. It's complex, it's high-profile, and it needs someone who thrives on exactly that.
Why this role is different:
Genuine autonomy — you shape the solution, not just execute someone else's
Work at the centre of a wide, high-calibre stakeholder network
A programme with real national significance — counter fraud, not busywork
What you'll be doing:
Leading CFCD work programme items from concept to delivery
Owning solution design, access requirements, and complex network engagement
Engaging senior stakeholders across Architecture, Security, Networks, Commercials, Finance, Digital Workplace Tech, other government departments, and law enforcement
Running multiple complex, concurrent projects without missing a beat
Spotting risk early and acting on it before it becomes a problem
Bringing sharp procurement, commercial and supplier management skills to the table
The essentials:
£435/day Inside IR35
Candidates must be SC eligible — this is non-negotiable for the role.
