Areti Group is seeking x6 Tech leads/Staff Engineers to work for a rapidly growing TECH FOR GOOD business. My client is growing a brand-new team and needs solid software engineers to help with the development of large-scale mobile and web applications backend. This role will be focused on backend coding and database design and paying special attention to the performance and reliability of their systems.
This is an unbelievable opportunity for software engineers who are looking for a company that has amazing values and generally cares about its customers and employees.
Key Accountabilities- Actively participate in the whole process of development, from initial design to deployment and support
- Proactively communicate with colleagues to refine application design
- Suggest and implement high-tech, innovative solutions
- Optimise backend code, look for bottlenecks and, as and when necessary, implement visualisation and monitoring systems
- Computer Science/Tech related degree is highly desirable.
- Experience in a Software Team Lead or Staff Engineer position but would consider a lead Engineer
- Experience building Service-oriented architecture
- Understanding how to optimise and fine-tune backend application that uses MySQL or other external data sources
- Experience in relational databases and SQL, preferably MySQL
- Excellent knowledge of PHP who understands the weak and strong points of this language
- PHP, Symfony and Laravel
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Love to write clean, reusable code and have a passion for development inside and outside of the office
- Solid communication skills and team-working capability
- Positive and logical approach together with willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and a passion for quality!
These roles are very urgent so suitable candidates will be interviewed immediately. This role comes with an amazing salary paying £75,000 - £100,000 basic (depending on experience) and comes with a benefits package that includes the following: 28 days holidays + Bank Holidays, Gym, Apple or Windows laptop, Fully Remote working.
