We’re urgently seeking X6 Product Designers to join our elite team. With offices in Bristol, Dorset, Southampton, and Somerset , this is your chance to be part of a groundbreaking venture. These roles are remote, with travel expenses covered for occasional trips to our office locations. Ideally the candidates will have the following: Lean UX – Experience WCAG – Accessibility – Experience Someone who can ASAP About the Role As a UX Designer Engineer, you’ll work closely with Product and Engineering teams to design intuitive, user-centric experiences. Your role will blend design thinking , research , and technical know-how to create functional, accessible, and delightful products at scale. Key Responsibilities User Research: Conduct user research to understand needs, behaviors, and pain points using interviews, surveys, and usability tests. Design & Prototyping: Create wireframes, storyboards, and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate design concepts. Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to ensure design feasibility and value. User Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests, analyze feedback, and iterate on designs. Present findings to both commercial and technical stakeholders. Collaboration & Communication: Work with Product Managers to align on user needs and goals. Partner with Developers to ensure accurate implementation. Facilitate design discussions and workshops. Design System Management: Maintain and contribute to the design system for consistency across products. Promote best practices in UX and accessibility. Documentation: Document design processes and decisions. Provide detailed specifications for development handoffs. Desired Experience Design Skills: 3-7 years in UX/Product Design, ideally in a collaborative SaaS B2B environment. Lean UX – Experience WCAG – Accessibility – Experience Sub-Disciplines: Experience across more than one sub-discipline of interaction design, information architectural, research, visual design, or user interface design is highly desirable. Design Tool Fluency: Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, etc. and prototyping tools like InVision, Axure, or similar. Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers. Awareness of technical constraints and feasibility when designing solutions. Design Principles: Strong foundation in user-centred design principles and knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG). Comprehensive experience of designing for both web and mobile applications delivering a unified user journey. Research Methodologies: Skilled in various user research methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, A/B testing, usability testing). Ability to analyse research data and translate findings into actionable design improvements. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align on goals and constraints. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify how to secure and engage users in the design process, understand user pain points, and design effective solutions. Ability to think critically and iteratively to improve designs based on user feedback and data. Wireframing & Prototyping: Proficiency in creating wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts, utilising modern design tools and frameworks. Agile Methodologies: Embraces an iterative process that allows for continuous improvement in both design development and the collaborative process. Experience working within Agile / Scrum frameworks, with the ability to adapt to evolving project needs.
