Areti has partnered with a brilliant Fintech seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer with proficiency in Cypress and Git, working to deliver their bespoke financial software. You must be an advocate of best practices around architecture and agile methodologies.
- Hybrid City of London – 3 days per week
You will be responsible for both high-level strategy development and hands-on work. The hands-on work will comprise both manual and automated testing.
- Create a thorough quality assurance strategy tailored for the software development function.
- Execute the QA strategy by developing test scripts, conducting end-to-end tests, and collaborating with the Scrum team and stakeholders.
- Develop and document detailed software quality assurance practices, procedures, and solutions, appropriately scaled for a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME).
- Evaluate developer output and work closely with developers to investigate, analyze, document, and resolve defects.
- Collaborate with developers to establish best practices for unit and feature testing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Profound knowledge of testing methodologies, including user acceptance testing (UAT), system integration, and regression testing.
- Strong proficiency in Cypress and Git.
- Extensive experience in designing and developing test automation scripts.
- Expertise in managing defect tracking systems and testing frameworks.
