We're supporting a leading telecoms and fibre provider delivering a range of network expansion and infrastructure projects. They're looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee fibre rollout, network delivery and complex technical change initiatives across multiple stakeholders.

The team has spent the last 12 months onboarding Layer 3 partners onto the network, with further partners still to onboard, and is now branching this work into Layer 2. This role will report into Kevin, Programme Delivery Manager, and will also provide support on CPE (Customer Premises Equipment).

What the role involves:

  • Leading fibre technology infrastructure projects
  • Managing suppliers, engineers and third-party delivery partners
  • Owning project plans, budgets, risks and governance
  • Driving delivery across network build, connectivity and integration workstreams
  • Leading and supporting the onboarding of Layer 3 partners, with an expanding remit into Layer 2 partner onboarding
  • Providing support on CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) as part of the wider delivery workstream
  • Providing regular updates to senior stakeholders and leadership teams, including the Programme Delivery Manager

What you'll bring:

  • Strong Project Management experience within fibre, telecoms or network infrastructure environments
  • Telco experience is essential, along with hands-on Ethernet experience
  • Experience delivering fibre rollout, network transformation or connectivity projects
  • Knowledge of FTTP, WAN, LAN, carrier services or telecoms infrastructure
  • Experience with Layer 3 and Layer 2 partner onboarding is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) is an advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder, supplier and delivery management skills
  • A hands-on, delivery-focused approach with the ability to drive projects at pace
