Areti is seeking multiple Senior Data Scientists/Data Engineers to join a Series A funded tech start‑up based in the London area, with a quick start. You must be DV or SC cleared, and you will work on a number of large Defence and Government projects, leading high‑profile programs. The Data Scientists will apply their technical skillsets and knowledge to solve exciting real‑world problems in a small and dynamic company, working as part of a close‑knit team building new proprietary approaches across the industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead high‑profile data science and engineering programs
- Deliver solutions for Defence and Government projects
- Deploy machine learning models
- Collaborate closely with a dynamic team
Qualifications
- Experience as a Data Scientist/Data Engineer
- Knowledge of Palantir tools (a huge plus)
- Track record of completing projects to deadline
- Experience with Deep Learning and frameworks such as TensorFlow/PyTorch
- Deploying ML models
- Strong Python skills and libraries for data science – scikit‑learn, NumPy, matplotlib
- Database experience with SQL and large “Big Data” environments
- Command knowledge in Python and API development
- Excellent grasp of software engineering practices – OOP, GIT, AWS
- CI/CD practices
- NoSQL database experience
- Security clearance (DV preferred)
