We're looking for an experienced Senior Agile Delivery Manager to join a large public sector organisation, focused on upskilling teams in agile delivery practices and workload management. This role is centred on coaching and knowledge transfer, helping build sustainable, long-term agile capability across the organisation.

About the role:

This engagement is focused on embedding best practice agile delivery and workload management across the organisation's teams, rather than running a single delivery in isolation. The successful candidate will coach and mentor teams, design and deliver structured training, and act as a hands-on capability-building resource — with a strong emphasis on Azure DevOps as the platform underpinning day-to-day delivery. Given the coaching remit and the scale of the organisation, sustained senior-level experience is required to deliver successfully across multiple teams and sites.

What you'll do:

  • Coach and mentor team members in agile delivery methodologies and workload management techniques
  • Design, organise and deliver structured training sessions to build internal agile capability
  • Share and embed best practice across delivery teams, ensuring consistency and quality in agile ways of working
  • Support teams in adopting and effectively using Azure DevOps for sprint planning, backlog management and workflow tracking
  • Act as a knowledge-transfer lead, ensuring skills and practices are sustainably embedded beyond the length of the engagement
  • Remain adaptable to varying team maturity levels and evolving organisational needs
  • Work collaboratively across multiple sites (London, Milton Keynes, East Kilbride), travelling as required

What you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Agile Delivery Manager, Agile Coach, or similar role
  • Strong track record of coaching and upskilling teams in agile delivery practices
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (preferred/central to this role)
  • Excellent facilitation and training delivery skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt coaching style to different audiences
  • Experience working within UK Government or public sector delivery environments (desirable)
