I'm currently recruiting for a

Lead Developer to join an exciting public sector programme.

Location

  • Remote, with
  • 2 days/month in Newcastle
  • We're looking for an experienced

Scala Lead Developer who can provide hands-on technical leadership while helping design and deliver full-stack solutions across front-end and back-end layers.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the design and implementation of Scala-based solutions
  • Providing technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to developers
  • Building and maintaining microservices using
  • Play Framework
  • Driving architectural discussions and technical decisions
  • Championing best practices around code quality, testing and deployment
  • Collaborating with Dev Ops, QA and wider stakeholders
  • Working across large codebases and influencing technical direction
