We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a merger and acquisition programme, with a strong focus on tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migrations. This role will be key in understanding business impacts, gathering requirements, mapping current and future state processes, and supporting the successful delivery of collaboration, communication, identity, and end-user productivity services during integration or separation activity.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience across M&A, divestment, or complex IT transformation programmes, alongside strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration and the business change implications that come with it.
Key responsibilities:- Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements
- Work with stakeholders across business and IT teams
- Support M&A, acquisition, divestment, or separation workstreams
- Produce BRDs, process maps, user stories, gap analysis, and functional documentation
- Define current state and target state operating models
- Work closely with architects, migration specialists, security teams, and project managers
- Assess impacts across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID / Azure AD, and Intune
- Support planning around identity, access, permissions, compliance, retention, and governance
- Facilitate workshops covering migration scope, cutover, user segmentation, and business readiness
- Identify and track risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
- Support UAT and business validation activities
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in M&A, divestment, or separation programmes
- Strong experience with tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migrations
- Good knowledge of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and identity management
- Experience documenting both business and technical requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced transformation environments
