We’re hiring a Full Stack Developer for a UK Government digital programme, and we want someone who’s done this before and knows their way around a GOV.UK service.
The deal
- 100% remote, with no travel at all (your slippers are approved)
- BPSS clearance only, so no long SC wait
- Runs until end of March/April, so you’re sorted through winter
What you’ll get up to
- Building citizen-facing services from front end to back end
- Crafting accessible, user-friendly pages with the GOV.UK Design System
- Writing solid back-end services in Java and Spring Boot
- Shaping cloud infrastructure with AWS and Terraform
- Writing tests that let the whole team sleep at night
- Plus: a bit of scripting magic
- Hands‑on MongoDB, AWS and Terraform
- A test-first mindset (Jest and Gherkin/BDD)
- GOV.UK Design System and Nunjucks experience
