About the Role
Join a leading utilities company as PMO Lead, driving governance, reporting, and portfolio management to ensure projects align with strategic objectives. You’ll shape PMO effectiveness, provide insights to senior stakeholders, and embed best practices for delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain PMO governance, standards, and processes.
- Lead portfolio reporting and assurance for senior leadership and shareholders.
- Monitor budgets, risks, and resources; escalate and recommend solutions.
- Align delivery with strategic objectives across multiple business units.
- Drive continuous improvement of PMO tools and processes.
- Support project managers with guidance and assurance.
- Track benefits realisation and mentor PMO team members.
About You
- Proven experience leading PMO in complex environments (utilities/infrastructure desirable).
- Strong governance, portfolio management, and reporting expertise.
- Skilled in budget, risk, and dependency management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Relevant degree and PMO/PM qualifications (APM, PMI, P3O) preferred.
