Areti are excited to be supporting another fantastic partner within the government and defence space, who are recruiting for a Digital Project Manager with experience in government digital environments.
The Role:
The role involves working closely with senior stakeholders and project teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver digital projects within a complex government environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Defining project scope
- Developing detailed project plans
- Managing delivery against agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Maintaining oversight of project progress
- Ensuring effective governance
- Providing regular reporting to stakeholders
- Managing risks, issues, and dependencies
- Facilitating decision-making through structured governance processes
- Coordinating across technical and non-technical teams
- Ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensuring projects adhere to established frameworks, controls, and compliance requirements
- Driving consistency and best practice across project delivery
Experience Required:
- Active SC or DV Clearance
- Strong experience managing digital projects within government or public sector environments
- Proven track record of delivering projects to time, cost, and quality constraints
- Experience with project governance, reporting, and stakeholder management
- Strong understanding of risk, issue, and dependency management
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, or hybrid approaches)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
