London (City of London) – 3–4 days onsite
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a pre‑deal / merger environment, delivering complex IT infrastructure and tenant‑to‑tenant migration programmes. The role sits at the intersection of business readiness, technical delivery, and third‑party coordination, requiring strong stakeholder management and hands‑on project leadership. This is a highly visible role within a fast‑paced transformation programme, based primarily on‑site in the City of London.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pre‑deal and merger‑related IT infrastructure projects, ensuring operational readiness and delivery alignment
- Manage tenant‑to‑tenant migrations, including planning, dependency mapping, cutover governance and risk management
- Coordinate multiple third‑party vendors and systems integrators, holding them accountable to delivery milestones
- Own project plans, RAID logs, governance reporting, and senior stakeholder communications
- Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, security and identity teams across both buyer and seller environments
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, timelines, and regulatory/compliance requirements
- Support integration or separation activities across O365, Azure and core IT infrastructure
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering IT infrastructure programmes
- Strong background in M&A, pre‑deal, merger or separation projects
- Demonstrable experience managing tenant‑to‑tenant migrations (O365 and/or Azure environments)
- Extensive experience in third‑party management within complex enterprise programmes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including C‑suite engagement
Nice to Have
- Understanding of O365, Azure, identity and cloud infrastructure concepts
- Experience working alongside architecture, security and networking teams
- Previous financial services, consultancy, or large enterprise environments
6 months initial term, 3–4 days per week onsite in the City of London. Competitive day rate (dependent on experience).
