We are supporting a major UK Government programme seeking two experienced Digital Project Managers (Consultant level) to join an established Dependent Systems team. These roles sit at the heart of a complex, cross-government initiative — supporting integration and data projects across Working Age Services, with reach into multiple government departments and cross-boundary digital teams. This is a high-impact opportunity for a senior delivery professional who thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and can drive outcomes across a wide system-of-systems landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end project delivery to time, cost, quality, and risk across a complex multi-stakeholder environment
- Coordinating delivery between internal teams and external suppliers across multiple hubs and locations
- Creating and managing shared delivery plans, surfacing risks, issues, and status clearly to all stakeholders
- Identifying integration impacts and providing overarching delivery support across Working Age Services
- Working flexibly across a blend of Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches
Key Requirements
- Proven track record delivering technology products and integration services within large, complex programmes
- Experience leading multi-skilled teams and managing challenging stakeholders at pace
- Comfortable operating in a multi-team, portfolio delivery structure
- Able to work closely with Product Owners to define roadmaps and translate into user stories and requirements
- Strong command of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Eligible for BPSS clearance — UK-based candidates only
Desirable Experience
- Background in government or public sector delivery
- Exposure to cross-boundary or cross-department integration programmes
- Experience balancing short and long-term solution demands with pragmatic risk management
