We're supporting a major public sector organisation in delivering trusted, well-governed data products and services across Data Platform Domain Teams. Working within agile teams, you'll engage with business and technical stakeholders to define, prioritise and manage requirements — helping shape the future of data curation and self-service access across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and articulate user needs across platform consumers
  • Define and manage requirements for data platforms and enabling services
  • Analyse data processes and flows to support platform design and modernisation
  • Support discovery, delivery and iterative improvement
  • Ensure alignment with policy, security and governance standards
  • Contribute to measuring outcomes linked to improved data accessibility and usability

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Stakeholder engagement and requirements management
  • Backlog refinement and 3 Amigos facilitation
  • Data governance: data lineage, data quality, data dictionary development
  • Experience working within agile delivery teams
  • Analytical skills — data process/flow analysis
  • Understanding of data platform design and modernisation
  • Good communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Aware of policy, security and governance frameworks

Role Details:

  • Rate: Up to £300/day
  • Clearance: BPSS Only
  • Location: Newcastle / Manchester / Birmingham – 40% travel
