Areti Group is partnering with a high-growth, Series A startup that’s scaling at serious pace — 20+ hires planned in the next 3 months. We’re looking for exceptional Tech Leads to take ownership of a core API Platform Team, driving the transition from legacy systems into a modern, scalable, API-first architecture — with a key shift from PHP into Golang.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the technical direction of the API platform
- Driving migration from legacy systems to API-first architecture
- Building high-performance, scalable services in Golang
- Defining API standards (design, versioning, security)
- Writing clean, production-grade code
- Line managing & mentoring a team of 4 engineers
- Acting as the technical escalation point
- Partnering closely with Product & QA
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead / Senior Engineer
- Strong background in API & backend development
- Solid object-oriented design & scalable architecture skills
- Experience working across the full stack in production
- Leadership experience – mentoring, managing, growing engineers
- Confident making technical decisions & trade-offs
Nice to Have
- Experience with Golang (or strong desire to move into it)
- Legacy system modernisation / migration
- Kubernetes / cloud-native experience
- High-throughput, data-heavy systems
- Experience in regulated domains (e.g. healthcare)
