About the Role

We are recruiting an Associate Project Manager to join a high-profile digital transformation programme within a large central government department. Working within a dynamic, multi-team delivery environment, you will support the integration and delivery of complex technology products and services, driving successful outcomes across all stages of the development lifecycle. This is a hands-on delivery role where you will work closely with internal stakeholders, product owners, and external suppliers to ensure technology solutions are delivered to a high standard — on time, fit for purpose, and scalable for future use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support integration delivery activities across a project or series of work packages
  • Drive and manage delivery outcomes across all stages of the development lifecycle
  • Remove blockers related to technology and service delivery
  • Create an environment where self-organising teams can thrive
  • Work with technical and security staff to specify, procure, develop and deploy services
  • Support vendor assessment, selection and onboarding via structured procurement processes
  • Shape solutions that balance short-term delivery with long-term flexibility and reusability
  • Contribute to collaborative, cross-team planning and prioritisation
  • Demonstrate delivery discipline in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
  • Share best practice and contribute to the wider delivery community
