This is a varied role combining front‑of‑house reception duties and administrative support. The postholder will be responsible for answering telephone calls, handling visitor enquiries, dealing with post, escorting students around the school site, and liaising with parents and students as required. The postholder will also be required to carry out administrative tasks as directed by the Senior Administrator, such as sending communications to parents by post, email and text message, producing letters and other documents, data input, and reprographics as necessary. In the first instance, the majority of the role will involve working on reception as the first point of contact for visitors, students and parents. Over time, there may be an increasing emphasis on administrative duties, supporting the wider functions of the school office. As such, it is essential that the successful candidate is both confident in a reception role and willing to develop and take on a full range of administrative responsibilities.
