Purpose of the position

As ROV Workshop Electrical Technician you will be part of the ROV Asset department. You will assist in carrying out electrical maintenance on Saipem ROV and equipment systems (ROV, TMS, Winch, HPU, A‑Frame etc.) under the direction of the Workshop Manager and Lead Workshop Electrician.

Responsibilities

  • Gain knowledge and experience on Saipem’s ROV and equipment to assist in carrying out electrical maintenance on systems.
  • Assist in maintenance, repair and upgrade activities related to the workshop electrical systems.
  • Become familiar with Saipem’s protocols, industry codes, and statutory regulations.
  • Ensure all activities comply with Saipem’s health, safety, quality and environmental policies.

Requirements

Experience: proven experience with electrical activities in a similar workshop environment.

Technical skills: industry training in electrical disciplines and demonstration of time-served qualifications.

Right to work

All applicants must reside in the UK and possess full, permanent UK right‑to‑work status. Saipem is unable to offer sponsorships.

Medical assessments

Pre‑ and post‑employment medical assessments will be required as part of the employment offer for all workshop personnel.

Benefits
