Purpose of the position: Plan and implement the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) activities within the project. Plan and ensure the project Quality Control (QC) activities implementation. Act as focal point for quality related matters within the project and in liaison with external entities. As Project Quality Manager you will report to the QHSE Manager as well as the Project Director or Project Manager.
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
- Ensure the identification, preparation and distribution of needed Project Quality Plans and procedures in accordance with the Company Quality Management System (QMS).
- Plan quality audits to check the correct implementation of the PQMS.
- Conduct external audits of Vendors' and Subcontractors' QMS.
- Participate in Project Management meetings to ensure coordination between Quality activities and PM activities.
- Ensure, within the project organization, the planning of activities aimed at promoting the applicable Contractual Quality Requirements.
- Support the Project Manager in relations with the Client and with the Authorities responsible for quality matters.
- Supervise subcontractors and organisations in charge of the works.
- Ensure management of site non-conformities.
- Promote appropriate actions to prevent potential non-conformities and their causes.
What are we looking for?
- Certification: ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor.
- Experience: 7 years as Quality Engineer or similar in an Offshore Construction site project environment.
- Technical skills: Audit, subcontractors management, material storage and preservation.
